It’s almost time for Noche UFC and the fourth annual event should be an entertaining one in Glendale, Arizona.

The card features 13 matchups and will be headlined by a featherweight clash between Jean Silva and Jose Delgado.

All 26 fighters set to compete on tomorrow’s card successfully made weight (Chairez vs Elliott has moved to a 130-pound catchweight bout).

Noche UFC Picks & Predictions

My favorite picks for Noche UFC are Ignacio Bahamondes, Yousri Belgaroui, Jean Silva and Tommy McMillen.

My favorite potential betting upsets on the card are Brandon Moreno and Rafa Garcia.

Bahamondes is returning to the welterweight division and getting a great spot to test the waters against Muslim Salikhov.

Ignacio might not have the same pure size advantage he enjoyed at lightweight over opponents, but he’ll still have the height and length to harass Salikhov in the striking and I think he’ll get this one done inside the distance.

Belgaroui is getting a great chance to run his winning streak to 4 straight against Djordan Santos, who could very easily be 0-3 right now in the promotion if not for a close decision win.

I expect Santos to be too willing to stand and exchange in this one and for Belgaroui to start adding up damage for a KO/TKO finish at some point in the first two rounds.

Jean Silva is getting a slight step back in competition here against Jose Delgado, who took this fight as a replacement for Yair Rodriguez and getting a big opportunity to shine.

While Delgado could make this competitive for a round or two, I think Silva will eventually get through his striking defense and movement to land something big and put the fight away.

Tommy McMillen has been a blast to watch throwing down in his first two UFC fights en route to bonuses, but I think we’re going to finally see him mix in some of his wrestling and grappling skills in this one.

This one likely starts out as a slugfest on the feet, but I think Tommy will take advantage of a hard shot or a timely takedown to snatch up a submission win.

Noche UFC Bets

For the Noche UFC betting card, I tried to find a decent mix of two-leg parlays and prop bets.

The parlays are McMillen ML + Moreno ML (+220 for .5 units), Garcia ML + Bahamondes to Win Inside the Distance (+273 for .5 units) and Belgaroui by KO/TKO + Bahamondes -7.5 Point Spread (+167 for .5 units).

Our prop bets for Noche UFC are Garcia by Decision (+310 for .25 units) and McMillen by Submission (+400 for .25 units).

Brandon Moreno is coming off back-to-back losses, but I think he’ll take advantage of getting his first opportunity to fight on a Noche card to get this one done on the cards or with a late stop.

I think he’ll be able to manage the range, avoid the takedowns for the most part and pepper Joseph Morales with enough strikes for a striker.

Garcia should be able to hold his own in the striking exchanges with Rongzhu and think he’ll have decent luck finding takedowns too should he need them to pick up a decision win.

I expect Bahamondes to finish Salikov, but I’d be shocked if the fight isn’t 30-27’s across the board if it does somehow end up going to the judges.

That’s a total of five bets for 2 units on the Noche UFC tracked betting card.

UFC Paris Quick Recap

We got torched last weekend on UFC Paris going -2.25 units on the bets thanks to some shaky opening parlay legs and MVP’s inability to find a finish in the UFC.

It’s disappointing his run with the promotion ended with little-to-no fanfare despite a 5-1 record, but he simply refused to chase highlight wins on multiple occasions, so it’s easy to understand the choice.

Since we’ve been burned on a handful of 3-leg parlays over the past month or so by one leg, hopefully we’ll have better luck this week dialing it back just a tad.
