We are officially one more sleep away from the start of the biggest UFC PPV event of the year as UFC 280 will get underway tomorrow from Abu Dhabi with 12 fights now scheduled for the event.

Lucas Almeida and Zabaira Tukhugov was cancelled after Tukhugov had trouble making weight and could no longer continue attempting to cut more weight.

We posted our full OddSmokerMMA UFC 280 Picks, Predictions, and Previews yesterday if you are looking for more detailed information on my thinking for how each fight potentially plays out.

Below are my final picks and predictions for tomorrow’s event courtesy of Tapology:

I’m pretty comfortable with a majority of the sides that I’ve chosen, however, some of the methods and rounds are a bit murkier. My favorite picks for the card: Mokaev, Gamrot, Borralho, Makhachev.

Before I post my final betting card for UFC 280, I wanted to share a couple of quick notes:

Since we need Charles Oliveira to cash our cross-card parlay from two weeks ago, but I changed my pick for that fight to Islam Makhachev, we have a couple of options. We could just let it ride and hope for the best. We could place a hedge on Makhachev before the fight if the ticket is still good. Or we can just cash it out once we check off a couple more wins. I’ll probably be doing the latter option but will be playing it by ear really and see how the early part of the card goes first.

Secondly, we are going to be pretty exposed on Mateusz Gamrot if he were to end up getting upset by Beneil Dariush, so I will probably be placing a ML hedge there just to ensure we at least bring our wagers back if an upset occurs. That play won’t be tracked officially since I’ll be placing it last minute if it’s needed, but I do recommend covering your bases there if you intend to follow multiple plays from our card.
