UFC 329: McGregor vs Holloway 2 – Free Picks, Predictions, Betting Card, Giveaway & More

It’s almost time for one of the most highly anticipated fight cards in recent memory with Conor McGregor returning to the octagon at UFC 329 in Las Vegas this weekend!

McGregor and Max Holloway are set to collide in what should be an electrifying rematch 13 years in the making when they meet at welterweight in the main event of tomorrow’s 14-fight card.

All 28 fighters scheduled to compete successfully made weight for the event.

UFC 329 Picks & Predictions

My favorite picks for UFC 329 are Gable Steveson, Adrian Yanez, Farid Basharat and Max Holloway.

My favorite potential betting upsets are Paddy Pimblett and Mario Bautista.

Steveson is going to close as one of the biggest betting favorites in promotion history for his debut and has been given a matchup with Elisha Ellison that he should absolutely dominate.

I expect Gable to rush out of the gates and be live for a finish on the feet or on the ground in the opening round.

Yanez is getting a really fun matchup with Cody Garbrandt that should end up being a stand and bang fight.

I think Yanez will be the faster, cleaner fighter in the striking exchanges and should be able to out-volume him for a stoppage down the stretch or decision win.

Basharat is getting a new opponent on short notice in a contract fight and should look to make a statement here with a dominant win and perhaps even a finish.

In the main event, McGregor will obviously have a puncher’s chance and could make things interesting if he chooses to wrestle at all, but I expect Holloway to weather any danger and pull away with this fight as it progresses.

I think Max will be able to out-volume Conor and mix in enough damage to win the rounds or even find a stoppage.

UFC 329 Betting Card

For the UFC 329 betting card, we have a pretty decent mix of small parlays and prop bets open.

For UFC 329 the prop bets, we have Sandhagen/Bautista to End by Split/Majority Decision (+350 for .25 units), Pimblett to Win Inside the Distance (+250 for .5 units) and McGregor by KO/TKO or Holloway by Decision Method Double Chance (+125 for 1 unit).

For the parlays this weekend, we have Costa to Win and Ov1.5 Rounds + Gandra to Win Inside the Distance (+281 for .5 units), Basharat ML + Yanez by KO/TKO + Steveson to Win in R1 (+195 for .5 units), Costa ML + Yanez ML + Bautista ML + Holloway ML (+429 for .5 units) and Steveson to Win U0.5 Rounds + Pimblett ML + Holloway ML (+595 for .5 units).

I expect Sandhagen and Bautista to have one of the more competitive matchups of the night and could definitely see it being all over the place on the scorecards.

Pimblett and Saint Denis has the potential to be a bloody affair with Fight of the Night contender written all over it, and while many have been quick to write off Paddy, I still think he’ll be the more durable fighter in this one.

In the main event, I think it will be pretty competitive early before Holloway starts to pull away, but McGregor will be live if he can catch Holloway in the early rounds.

For the parlays, I mostly just mixed and matched lines that I liked and tried not to overload on any one spot.

That’s a total of seven bets for 3.75 units on the UFC 329 tracked betting card.

UFC Oklahoma City Updates

We’re thrilled to announce we’re headed to UFC Oklahoma City next weekend and Kala will be working media for the event as well, so stay tuned for some really fun extra content coming next week.

There have been a handful of changes and updates to the lineup over the past few days, including with new opponents for Alvin Hines and Dione Barbosa.

Hines will now be facing RJ Harris at heavyweight, while Anna Melisano is stepping up to face Barbosa.

If you haven’t already ordered shirts from our collabs with them, be sure to check those out and show some love to Alvin and Dione headed into Fight Week.

Also, make sure you check out Kala’s interview with Fatima Kline on The Cage Walk Podcast ahead of her matchup against Tabatha Ricci next weekend at UFC OKC.

UFC 329 Notes & Wrap-Up

Overall, UFC 329 is one of the most stacked lineups we’ve had in a while, and with McGregor’s return headlining, we could see more massive viewership numbers for the promotion that might rival UFC Freedom 250.

With 14 fights and some really solid matchmaking, I’m expecting a lot of finishes on this one and a handful of pretty violent matchups that should produce some highlights.

Be sure to keep an eye on our social accounts this weekend and check back in for the UFC OKC picks and bets as we’ll be running a few giveaways for and following the event.

As always, best of luck on the bets and hope everyone enjoys the fights!
