UFC 327: Prochazka vs Ulberg – Free Picks, Predictions & Betting Card

It’s almost Fight Day for UFC 327 and we have arguably the best card of the year on deck from Miami.

The card features 12 matchups and will be headlined by a clash between Jiri Prochazka and Carlos Ulberg for the vacant UFC Light Heavyweight title.

23 out of 24 fighters successfully made weight for the event with Chris Padilla coming in two pounds over the lightweight limit and being fined 20% of his fight purse.

UFC 327 Picks & Predictions

My favorite picks for this weekend are Kelvin Gastelum, Azamat Murzakanov, Tatiana Suarez and Aaron Pico. My favorite potential betting upsets are Cub Swanson, Josh Hokit and Carlos Ulberg.

Gastelum being at the top of the list this week should tell you everything you need to know about how tightly contested most of the fights on this card should be, but I love the spot for him vs Vicente Luque.

While Gastelum has been known to show up overweight and/or unmotivated for fights in the past, he looked pretty good making 185 and should be able to dictate where this one goes, land more on the feet and pick up the win.

Murzakanov is 16-0 in his career, 6-0 in the UFC and has laid five of those opponents out for KO/TKO wins since arriving in the promotion.

While Paulo Costa will be one of his more credentialed opponents, he’s moving up to 205 for this fight and looked absolutely abysmal the only other time we’ve seen him fight that heavy against Vettori.

I think Costa will have some moments and maybe even make this one close, but Murzakanov should land the more damaging shots for a decision.

Tatiana Suarez should be able to get her wrestling and takedowns going against Loopy Godinez, who already has recent losses to Virna Jandiroba and Mackenzie Dern with similar skillsets to Suarez.

As long as Suarez’s body isn’t starting to completely give out from past injuries and issues, she should dominate this fight and get this one done on the cards or possibly even a submission.

Pico is the biggest favorite on the card despite being on the wrong end of a brutal KO/TKO loss in his UFC debut.

I expect Pico to land more damage, mix in takedowns and to try and be a bit more mindful here against Patricio Pitbull to pick up a decision or KO/TKO win.

UFC 327 Betting Card

For the UFC 327 bets this weekend, we have a few parlays and a handful of prop bets open.

The parlays are Gastelum ML + Suarez ML + Murzakanov ML (+266 for 1 unit), Esteban Ribovics +3.5 Point Spread + Swanson/Landwehr Does Not Go the Distance (+178 for 1 unit) and Charles Radtke ML + Pico ML + Swanson ML (+310 for .5 units).

The prop bets are Suarez/Godinez to End by Split/Majority Decision (+375 for .25 units), Gamrot/Ribovics to End by Split/Majority Decision (+500 for .25 units), Swanson by KO/TKO (+275 for .5 units), Hokit to Win in R1/2 (+115 for .5 units) and Hokit by KO/TKO (+225 for .5 units).

I’m expecting both of those fights to potentially be close if they see the scorecards since both matchups feature opposing styles clashing, so figured it was worth a shot to see if one or both end up split.

Swanson is 42 and set to retire after this fight, so I’m expecting him to go all-out against Nate Landwehr, which is a fantastic matchup for him in my opinion. I think there’s a high likelihood he keeps the judges out of it.

I was back and forth on my pick for the heavyweight matchup but ultimately decided to trust my gut on Hokit getting this one done.

I was at UFC 299 when Blaydes was taken down at will and Hokit actually has finishing ability, so whether he catches him on the feet or via ground and pound, I think he’ll be able to put him out.

That’s eight bets for a total of 4 units on the tracked plays.

UFC 327 Wrap-Up & Notes

It’s been a bothersome couple of days personally as we’ve been dealing with relocating from a flood issue, but thankfully I had most of the work done for this card before the headaches of that started.

On the unfortunate side, I wasn’t able to catch the PFL Chicago Media Day, so stay tuned for our coverage getting back underway with them in the near future.

Big shoutout to Huey’s Restaurant and Bitter Sweet Kwality Market for helping us advertise and continue to grow the OddSmokerMMA brand! If you’re in the Memphis area, I highly recommend checking out both spots.

Dana White announced there should be some updates for the UFC Freedom 250 card during the event, including a sneak peek at what things will look like with the event being held at The White House.

Overall, this is the best lineup of 2026 so far in my opinion and think the matchmakers nailed it across the board, so hopefully we’ll have a really fun night of competitive fights.

As usual, best of luck on the bets for UFC 327 and hope everyone enjoys the fights!
