UFC Seattle: Adesanya vs Pyfer – Free Picks, Predictions, Betting Card & More

It’s almost time for UFC Seattle and we have a loaded 13-fight card on the way headlined by Israel Adesanya and Joe Pyfer in a ranked middleweight clash!

All 26 fighters set to participate on the card successfully weighed in without any noticeable problems.

UFC Seattle Picks & Predictions

My favorite picks for this card are Navajo Stirling, Michael Chiesa, Ignacio Bahamondes and Alexia Thainara. My favorite potential betting upsets are Adrian Yanez, Yousri Belgaroui and Julian Erosa.

Sterling is 8-0 in his career, 3-0 in the UFC and getting another favorable matchup to keep the run going against Bruno Lopes, who is 1-1 in the UFC so far.

Sterling is a talented striker, and while his last three wins have come on the scorecards, I think he’ll be able to land some big shots early in this one to potentially get his first UFC KO/TKO win.

Chiesa is set to compete in the final bout of his career, and if his opponent was anyone other than Niko Price, I wouldn’t even consider him near these odds.

However, even with Chiesa planning to lay down the gloves tomorrow, I think he’ll have more than enough to get through Price, who is making an ultra-quick turnaround off an ugly TKO loss and likely to get stopped again.

Bahamondes had me a bit worried during weigh-ins as he was the last fighter to come out, but there didn’t seem to be any issues at all for him as he made 155 on the mark.

As long as he avoids getting caught with any big shots early from Musayev, he should be able to largely choose where this fight goes and find enough success to pick up the win.

I don’t love the fact that Alexia Thainara is such a wide betting favorite in her rematch against Brunna Brasil, but I think she’s continued to improve since their first meeting and should be able to avenge her only career loss.

UFC Seattle Betting Card

For the UFC Seattle bets, we have a handful of prop bets, one moneyline and a couple of parlays open.

The prop bets and ML are Yanez by Decision (+375 for .5 units), Tyrell Fortune by Decision (+600 for .25 units), Belgaroui to Win in R3/Decision (+200 for .5 units), Chiesa by KO/TKO (+850 for .25 units) and Erosa ML (+215 for .5 units).

The parlays are Yanez ML + Stirling ML + Chiesa ML (+215 for .5 units) and Thainara -3.5 Point Spread + Stirling -5.5 Alt Point Spread + Chiesa to Win Inside the Distance (+239 for 1 unit).

I think Yanez/Simon will be competitive in the first round, but as long as Yanez doesn’t find himself grounded/controlled the whole fight, he should be able to get his striking going, land the bigger shots and likely squeeze out a decision.

Fortune is making his UFC debut but getting a good matchup to start with a win against Marcin Tybura.

I expect him to be the better striker, avoid getting taken down and get the decision if it goes the full 15 minutes.

As long as he doesn’t get grounded early, Belgaroui should land the more damaging shots on the feet and hold up better down the stretch against Mansur Abdul-Malik for a late KO/TKO stoppage or decision win.

Chiesa doesn’t have a career win by KO/TKO and probably won’t get one here either, but a ground and pound TKO is entirely on the table with Price turning around so quickly after getting slept on his feet roughly 50 days ago.

That’s a total of seven tracked bets for 3.5 units for the betting card this weekend.

PFL Pittsburgh + Announcements

We’ll actually have an MMA double feature tomorrow night with PFL Pittsburgh going down as well, headlined by Johnny Eblen facing the debuting Bryan Battle at middleweight.

Excited to announce I got approved for PFL media starting with the PFL Chicago event coming up on April 11th, so I’ll be jumping in on the media day sessions moving forward and we’ll be adding those to our YouTube channel again.

Another big thank you to Springfield V&C, as well as Killer Rabbit Tattoo & Piercing Studio, for helping us advertise our work and continue getting the OddSmokerMMA brand out there.

Huge shoutout to our friends at Elite Sports for hooking us up with a new 6′ Kickboxing Bag + Training Kit, as well as a new oversized travel bag for when we hit the road.

Whether it’s for travel or training, Elite always has some of the best and most affordable gear around, so check them out.

If you live in or around the Mid-South area, be sure to come out next month on April 25th and support Primal Cage Warriors 2 at Minglewood Hall in Memphis, TN and enjoy a great night of combat sports action.

Their inaugural event last month was an all-around great time, and this should be another really fun night of fights with special guests scheduled including former UFC heavyweight Greg Hardy.

If you missed it last week, we’re currently running a free giveaway on our Instagram for an autographed shirt from Julius Walker from our recent merch collaboration together, so be sure to get entered for a chance to win!

UFC Seattle Wrap-Up

Overall, it should be a great night of violence with a handful of good matchups and potential big finishes.

Next weekend it’s back to the META Apex for UFC Vegas 115 headlined by Renato Moicano and Chris Duncan.

Be sure to check back to get picks, bets and more for that one to kick things off for April. After that card, we have UFC 327, UFC Winnipeg and UFC Vegas 116 to round out the month.

As usual, best of luck on the bets and we hope everyone enjoys the fights!
