It’s Fight Day for UFC Vegas 110 and we’ve got a pretty fun lineup headed our way from the Apex this afternoon. The card features 13 bouts and will be headlined by a featherweight matchup between Steve Garcia and David Onama.
All 26 fighters successfully made weight for the event, which is always a pleasant surprise these days.
My favorite picks for UFC Fight Night: Garcia vs Onama are Donte Johnson, Norma Dumont, Allen Nascimento and Steve Garcia. My favorite potential betting upset is Yadier del Valle.
Johnson is a heavy hitter making his UFC debut against SD Dumas and love the matchup for him as he drops from heavyweight to middleweight for the clash. I expect Johnson to come out throwing heavy from the start and to likely get this one done with a first round KO/TKO.
Dumont has won five in a row and eight of her last nine heading into her matchup with Ketlen Vieira and I think she’ll keep the momentum going here. Dumont should be the more active striker, cause more damage and pick up the win here on the cards to firmly put herself in line for a title shot.

Nascimento is getting Durden on barely a week’s notice, and while we’re big fans of Cody here at OddSmokerMMA, I hate this matchup for him. Nascimento is very active with submission attempts and will likely look to burn out Durden’s cardio as he goes for one in the latter rounds. I think he’ll probably find one or get the win on the cards.
Garcia and Onama are getting a huge opportunity in the main event to cement themselves in the featherweight division, and I like Garcia’s chances of making a statement here. Neither of these guys are afraid to stand and bang and wouldn’t be surprised if they both come out throwing heavy. I think Garcia finds the KO/TKO sometime in the early rounds.
For the bets this weekend, I’m not really doing much with a total of three tracked bets: Alencar by Submission (+400 for .25 units), del Valle ML (+215 for .5 units) and Dumont ML + Nascimento ML + Under 2.5 Rounds Garcia/Onama (+215 for .5 units). That’s 1.25 units total across the three.
This card is the first of four UFC events in November, with UFC Vegas 111, UFC 322 and UFC Qatar set to round things out.
Hopefully the return to Apex will see a lot of finishes and fun fights today, particularly after one of the most underwhelming and disappointing UFC PPV events of all-time last weekend with UFC 321. Best of luck on the bets and hope everyone enjoys the fights!
