It’s Fight Day for UFC Vancouver! We’ve got 13 fights on the way with some pretty solid matchups spread throughout the lineup, including Reinier de Ridder vs Brendan Allen in the main event with potential implications for the UFC Middleweight title picture. All 26 fighters successfully made weight for the event.
My favorite picks for this weekend are Reinier de Ridder, Azamat Bekoev and Danny Barlow. My favorite potential betting upset is Marlon Vera.
de Ridder has put together a 4-0 start to his UFC run and has a chance to solidify himself in the Middleweight title conversation with another win here. I think de Ridder matches up well with Allen, especially on short notice, and will be the more dangerous of the two. de Ridder should be able to pick up a stoppage sometime in the middle rounds.

Bekoev is 2-0 in the UFC with a pair of first round stoppages and he’s catching the debuting Yousri Belgaroui, who is close friends with Alex Pereira. While Belgaroui is a talented kickboxer, I don’t think he’ll be able to handle Bekoev in the wrestling and grappling. Tough to nail down a method, but I expect Bekoev to get it done.
Barlow is coming off his first career loss and moving up to middleweight with a favorable matchup in my opinion against Djordan Santos. Barlow is well-rounded and has some nasty striking, as long as he stays safe in the early exchanges and doesn’t get too reckless, he should cruise to a decision win or find a KO/TKO stoppage.
For the tracked bets, I’m keeping things pretty light again this weekend with a pair of prop bets: Barlow by Decision (+225 for .5 units) and de Ridder by Submission (+200 for .5 units). Santos has never been KOed and is coming down from 205 pounds for this fight, so I expect Barlow to most likely grind him out for a decision.
That’s two tracked bets for 1 unit. I also have a handful of open parlays coming into the card with the following moneylines played in them: de Ridder, Barlow, Bekoev and Malott. For anyone who bets NFL, I also really like Justin Jefferson and Rashee Rice for Anytime TDs tomorrow.
Overall, this should be a pretty entertaining lineup with great fights spread throughout from top to bottom. Remember next weekend is UFC 321 headlined by Tom Aspinall and Ciryl Gane for the UFC Heavyweight title, so be sure to check back for picks and bets for that one. Hope everyone enjoys the fights and best of luck on the bets!
