The UFC is celebrating Mexican Independence Day with a bang this year, as Noche UFC takes place from the T-Mobile arena in Las Vegas later today. There are eleven fights scheduled for the event and the card will be headlined by the rematch between Alexa Grasso and Valentina Shevchenko for the UFC Women’s Flyweight title. As you might expect, there are a handful of fighters representing Mexico on the lineup, including several highly touted prospects such as Fernando Padilla and Daniel Zellhuber.

The official weigh-in for this card went rather smoothly with no weight misses this week. However, there were several fighters that needed the curtain to make their respective weight limits, including Edgar Chairez and Jack Della Maddalena, who was the last fighter on the scales. While no one missed weight, it looked like a couple fighters might have still had rough weight cuts, including Chairez and Tracy Cortez.

My favorite picks on this card are Roman Kopylov, Lupita Godinez, Raul Rosas Jr, and Daniel Zellhuber. I think Kopylov, Rosas Jr, and Zellhuber will all be very live to win via stoppage and expect them to win inside the distance, and I could also see Godinez finding a submission stoppage on Elise Reed despite her high decision rate in the UFC. My favorite potential betting upsets on this card are Kevin Holland and Jasmine Jasudavicius.

For the betting card this weekend, I have a pair of two-leg parlays and three prop bets open, as well as a couple of untracked plays since they’ll already have legs coming into the event. The parlays: Kopylov ML + Holland ML (+215) and Padilla ITD + Zellhuber ITD (+329). I have one unit on each of those parlays. The prop bets: Holland by Points (+375), Rosas Jr by KO/TKO (+340), and Godinez by R2/R3 Sub (+700). For the prop bets, I laid .5 units on the Holland and Rosas Jr plays and .25 units on Godinez. The lines remaining on the other parlays I have open are Kopylov ML, Zellhuber ML and Shevchenko ML.
