The UFC returns to Music City this weekend with an exciting card featuring twelve fights and will be headlined by a catchweight matchup between Cory Sandhagen and Rob Font. This fight will definitely have future implications in the bantamweight division title picture and should be a highly entertaining display of violence between two of the most dangerous strikers in the division.

Although the UFC Nashville lineup had a large number of cancellations and changes in the lead up to the event, thankfully there were no major issues during the weigh-ins for the card yesterday. Only one fighter missed weight and it was Dennis Buzukja, who accepted his fight with Sean Woodson earlier this week and despite cutting 21 pounds in 3 days, still missed the featherweight limit by half a pound. Unfortunately, Buzukja was not allowed the extra hour to cut the weight and was instead fined.

My favorite picks on this card are Tatiana Suarez, Cory Sandhagen, Ignacio Bahamondes, and Kennedy Nzechukwu. Some underdogs I’m liking on this card to pull potential betting upsets are Aleksa Camur, Cody Durden, and Carlston Harris. My favorite prop bet this weekend is Tatiana Suarez by Submission. She’s got a tough opponent in Jessica Andrade, but that’s nothing new as she already has wins over two UFC titleholders on her resume and will be looking to add a third. She will have a dominant grappling advantage and Andrade won’t have her usual size advantage that she carries when fighting at 115.

Beyond that, I went pretty light this week on the props and instead mostly attacked with small two leg parlays mixing my favorite picks and ran a couple of straight bets on the underdogs. I have been working on cleaning up my betting strategy the past few weeks and plan to start releasing my full betting sheets in the near future, so let’s hope for another solid weekend.
