UFC London: Aspinall vs Tybura – Picks, Predictions & Favorite Bets

UFC London will be taking place tomorrow at the O2 Arena and it will feature the return of Tom Aspinall in the main event when he takes on Marcin Tybura. Aspinall’s return will happen 364 days after injuring his knee in the same arena last summer against Curtis Blaydes just moments into their fight. While that is obviously the biggest matchup on the card, we’ve got a pretty deep lineup on this one, with all 15 scheduled bouts holding together after weigh-ins with all 30 fighters successfully making weight.

My favorite picks for this card are Tom Aspinall, Joel Alvarez, Nathaniel Wood, and Molly McCann. You can get a more detailed breakdown on the main event, including my favorite bets for it, by checking out my WagerWire article for this week previewing the Aspinall/Tybura fight. I expect both Aspinall and Alvarez to win inside the distance, while I think Wood and McCann are more likely to win either by decision or late KO/TKO. My favorite betting underdogs who could potentially pull upsets in their respective fights are Davey Grant, Paul Craig, and Pannie Kianzad.

My favorite bets for this weekend are plays involving Aspinall. He’s definitely my most comfortable pick of the card and I feel like I found some pretty sound ways to approach the props for him, sprinkling on his submission prop and to win in the second round. Most sportsbooks have Aspinall by Sub listed at +275, however, you can get it at +360 still on FanDuel. Two of Aspinall’s last three wins have been via that method and I think this one finishes on the ground most likely. Beyond the Aspinall plays, I have bets out for two fights to end by split/majority decision: Kianzad/Vieira (+350) and Murphy/Culibao (+450). I also took small shots on both Grant and Craig’s moneylines, as well as a sprinkle on Jafel Filho R3/Dec (+200).
