The UFC returns to Florida this weekend with UFC Jacksonville/UFC on ABC 5 taking place tomorrow. There are 13 fights booked for the card after Taira/Rodrigues was a late scratch and it will be headlined by Josh Emmett and Ilia Topuria in featherweight bout that should be straight fireworks. As with past events the promotion has scheduled that air on the ABC Network, this card has plenty of solid fighters competing up and down the lineup and it should be a pretty entertaining event overall.

There were actually a surprising number of fighters who had issues at weigh-ins for this event. Kleydson Rodrigues had the worst miss on the card, coming in three pounds over the limit for his matchup with Tatsuro Taira. It’s the second time Rodrigues has missed weight in 2023 and caused this fight to be scratched. Loik Radzhabov missed weight by 1.5 pounds for his fight against Mateusz Rebecki. And finally, Jamall Emmers needed a second attempt; however, he was able to make weight after shaving his head.

My favorite picks on this card are Ilia Topuria, Neil Magny, Brendan Allen, and Trevor Peek. All four of them are in very favorable matchups on this card and I have bets out on all four of them. While Topuria’s moneyline is a little high for my liking, I have him winning inside the distance in this one over Emmett via body shots on the feet or by submission.
